During the past weeks this column has mentioned the marvelous progress the Juniors are making in their golf. In order to illustrate by score comparison how much these boys are improving | would like to compare the two top scores of the adults and juniors tournaments of last week. Bill Hanley and Bob Adamo in the adult tournament came in with 42's and Al Pattison with a 43. In the Junior tournament Kenny Hanley came in with a 42 and David Adamo with a 43. This is indeed amazing for 12 and 13 year olds. In the adult group special mention is deserved to Paul Coupal who started golfing last year. Paul's im- provement is due to his deep interest and love of the game. Despite the cool weather turn outs to the tourna- ments are very good. The ladies should be congratu- lated for a progressive executive who is doing a fine job in promotion. The semi-annual meeting will be held on May 29th at the Club House. All members are welcome. A golfing friend says he always quits after 18 holes or 90 strokes, whichever comes first.
