McElhanney will become superintend- ent of industrial relations, Spruce Falls Power and Paper Company Limited, Kapuskasing. Prior to his new appointment, he served for three years as man- ager, labour relations, Kimberly-Clark of Canada Limited. Mr McElhanney, is no stranger to Kapus- kasing, having spent 15 years there. He was employ- ed as summer student at Spruce Falls' woodlands de- | partment for three years commencing in 1946. He joined the company as a permanent employee in 1949 as developmental logging engineer and superintendent of the Faugier sawmill and loading plant. He later served in various other sections of the woodlands department, including work in labour relations, and became labour relations supervisor . In 1962, he was transferred to the newly acquired Interlake Tissue Mills at St. Catharines as superin- tendent of industrial relations.
