In this day and age when companionate living, divorce, desertion and ever increasing consumption of alcohol seems to have become a way of life through out our country, | want to protest in the strongest terms possible, on behalf of the citizens of Terrace Bay, the wisdom and fairness of a news media, such as your, which has such an impact on the daily living of the people of Northwestern Ontario, to single out one community which, in all probability, is no better or worse than the whole, and expose its reported morality for all to hear. | realize and appreciate the jealously with which you guard your right to relate the news without fear or favour but | suggest to you, in all seriousness, that when news becomes discriminatory, it ceases to be fair reporting and | cannot help but suspect some. ulterior motive in the release of this item either by your reporter or your station, to take such an unfair swing at-our town. In common with all municipalities, Terrace Bay is composed of human beings with all our common fraili- ties, and in all humility, | defy any reporter to show me a happier, more contented or law abiding commun ity in which to live.
