PAGE 10 Ww "THE OWL'S HOOT" Just Between Students : This week was the christening of our new school paper, "Just Between Students". It offers many things for the students to enjoy, including fashions, the top ten songs of the month, jokes, and an advice column, recipies, and test of brain over brawn. So what, you say? But the unique attraction of this paper is that, besides being in longhand, it is also in shorthand. The paper itself is the protegé of the shorthand girls of S.H.S. There are eighteen girls separated into three classes The seniors are: Shirley Phillips, Linda Pidluzny, Helen Williamson, Saara Pelto and Cathie Bolan. The second yéar students are: Verna Daley, Estelle Chicoine, Lori Nickoluk, Donna Hiebert, Edi Relph, Kris Chepelski, and the first year students are: Karen Hiebert, Valeri Boyd, Suzzanne Dzioba, Lynda Fontaine and Monica Frommann. We hope to be able to publish one paper per month, each article written in both shorthand and longhand. They will be sold for the meagre sum of fifteen cents. Yearbook Deadline Pictured above are Collen Maclsaac and Marylyn Cook; co-editors of the Yearbook Club. A deadline of November 21 has been set for order- ing a yearbook. The price of the book is reasonable and if the purchaser wishes to have his or her name put on the cover, it will cost a very little more. This year's book will have a hard cover in a new color with a very modern design. All lettering will be in gold. The lay out for the yearbook is to be sent away on pM: ich 10, the finished book available by May.
