Sometime in the near should prove interesting as we have never had one before. Proceeds from this dance will go towards purchasing new Girls' Basketball uniforms. We owe this club a vote of thanks as we are sure to profit from their efforts. Meet Your Teacher - Mr. Affleck, our popular and understanding history eacher, was born in | Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he received his jschool diplomas. He ttended United College n Winnipeg for the first half of his University life while the latter part was spent at Lakehead Univer sity. He was attracted to Schreiber because he wished to teach in a small town so as to get to know people on a more personal basis. Mr. Affleck says he enjoys it here because the people are extremely friendly and he is delighted to be residing here. Student Council Elections - Nominations were open last week for the various offices on Student Council for the year '68 - '69. As all the candidates con- ducted excellent campaigns, the choice was a diffi- cult one. The photo below shows some of the candi- dates for the Student Council.
