TERRACE BAY NEWS SCHREIBER Mr. and Mrs. Ron McBride and Geraldine, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Richardson and Judy, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McBride and their family have gone to Winnipeg to attend the wedding of Bea McBride and Keith Hutchinson. Mrs. Leonard O'Brien, Mrs. Russell McBride and Russell O'Brien are spending the weekend in Red Lake with Mrs. O'Brien's daughters . Mr. and Mrs. Lorne (Doc) Nesbitt and family of Prince George, B.C. are here with Doc's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Nesbitt, visiting other rela- tives and old friends. Paddy O'Brien has gone to spend his vacation with relatives in Pembrook. Janie Duggan is visiting Mr. and Mrs. D'Arcy MacDonald in Markstay and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Colson and son John of Bracebridge, visited here over the weekend. Mrs. Colson, the former Pauline Chartrand, who spent her childhood here, has many friends which she looked up, among then being Mr. and Mrs. Doug May and her uncle, Walter Wilkes. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Laine of Windsor are spend- ing the summer here in town and at their camp at White Sand Lake. Visiting with them is their daugh- ter Ilona, Mrs. Dick Remillard and family of Sault Ste. Marie. Mr. Remillard will join them later. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cameron (Marnie Rattray) with Susan, Marilyn and Douglas of Sudbury, are visit- ing Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rattray and other relatives. Mrs. Eddie Sheehan of London visited Mr. and Mrs. George Walsh this week. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bodner, with Murray and Bill Jr., of Fort William, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Pat Mulligan at White Sand Lake, and other Spadoni and Cebrario relatives in Schreiber. Ginny May spent last week visiting Mrs. Jim Einarson in Fort. William. Roberta Milani is visiting her grandmother in Fort William also. Mr. and Mrs. John Poulis of Montreal and Mr. and Mrs. R.C. McCuaig of Atikokan spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. L.R. McCuaig. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gerow and daughter Mary Ellen are visiting in Winnipeg with Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wainikka. Mr. and Mrs. Hank Prebeshewski and family of Detroit have returned home after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Joe Campbell and others in the Campbell family. Mrs. Campbell gave a birthday party: for AUGUST 8, 1968 granddaughter, Kies Marshall, of New Glasgow, N.S., entertaining 10 cousins. Catherine Campbell also had her birthday party when Kim was here # Mrs. Oscar Niemi of Schreiber, Ontario wishes to announce the engagement of her daughter, Ester Anna to John Edward Riley, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Riley of White River, Ontario. The wedding - will take place on August 30th at 7 p.m. in St. Andrews United Church, Schreiber. ROSSPORT Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Lif over the week- end for their son Sten's wedding were Douglas Mit- chell of Red Lake, Mr. and Mrs. D. Mitchell of Atikokan, Mr. and Mrs. R. Bodnar, Mrs. Vince Walker, Mrs. D. Kelso, Misses Patty and Susan Kelso and David Kelso of Fort William. Visiting Mrs. R. Wieben at the resort are Mrs. D. Weiben, Gregory and Brian Weiban, Mr. and Mrs. B. Oldham and Howard of Fort William. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schroeder and family visited relatives at Kakabecka Falls last week. Their son Walter remained for the summer. Mrs. Hattie Yandon left Wednesday for Toronto, North Bay and Noranda Quebec on holidays with relatives. Lorne Molinski is a patient in a Winnipeg hospital Mr. and Mrs. Frances Klien and family of Sault Ste. Marie holidayed on Nicol island and renewed old acquaintances here this week . Miss Camilla Todesco returned Monday to Windsor after holidaying with her parents and friends at Marathon and Nipigon and Port Arthur. Also visit-- ing the Todesco's this week were Mr. and Mrs. A. Drummond and three daughters of Windsor, Ontario. Mrs. Jane Nickleson of Port Arthur captured the O'Keefe trophy for the sixth week's catch in the summer long Rossport Fish Derby, with a 4 lb. 6 oz. fish. Mrs. Arthur Douglas and baby Cathy of MacDiar- mid, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Beulah Bemben of Toronto were guests of Mrs. C. Todesco this week. Mr. and Mrs. J.C.
