TERRACE BAY NEWS SO HRET-BER The annual Legion field day to be held on August 5th, will begin at 12.30, with the parade from the club followed by races for the children, for whom free treats will be provided. Bingo will go on throughout the afternoon, with a fish pond, barbe- cued foods, a cabbage roll stand, and a food booth for other items. At the cabaret in the evening, Tony Camby will provide music for dancing and the draws for the day will be made. The Schreiber Kinsmen are sponsoring a Million- aire Night on August 3 from 8 - 12 p.m. in the local arena, when Funny Money will be the accepted coin for the evening. $10,000 is given on admis- sion, and thereafter the same amounts issued. There will be dining and dancing to live music, with mini skirted waitresses and cigarette girls in attendance, and a choice of beverages. The many games of chance will feature guesses on the weather, a timely one this season. The big auction will take place at midnight with Funny Money used to bid on over 50 valuable pieces of merchandise. Spillane who now, from his own studio in Stratford, is in charge of the Stratford Festival Photography publicit His wife is his partner in the studio. Doug's interest in photography began in the Schreiber continuation school camera club. Mr. and Mrs. Spillane, with Nancie and Michael, have just returned from visit- ing Doug and his wife and other relatives in Toronto, Oshawa, and other centres in southern Ontario. U.N. PILGRIMAGE MAKES ANNUAL VISIT Twenty-seven students from Western Canada and the United States on the annual United Nations Pil- grimage, sponsored by the Oddfellows and Rebekah Lodges in both countries, were entertained at a (Cont'd on page 10)
