JUNE 27, 1968 C. Sitch Retires - cont'd from page 4 14 years. He also bowled in both mixed and men's leagues. He enjoys fishing, hunting and outdoor life in general . As Charlie Sitch views it, Terrace Bay is a won- derful place to bring up a family. And in the immediate weeks ahead he and his wife will be visiting that family . . . a daughter in Toronto where there are three grandchildren . . . a son and a daughter (with five grandchildren) on the West Coast. By the end of the year, Mr. and Mrs. Sitch will head for California, Mexico and Arizona. Later next year they hope to journey to Alaska. While in California they will visit Walter Sitch who will celebrate his 100th birthday in October. Walter Sitch is Charlie's uncle. He made head- lines across the country recently when a great- great-great-great grandson was born in the Mari- times to establish a line of six generations, all living. A search of Canadian archives has not disclosed a similar record in all Canadian history. The Sitch family is from hardy English stock noted for stamina and longevity. Charlie's father was a marathon runner. To Charlie Sitch and his good wife we extend best wishes for good health and a long and happy life.
