Students Tour Lakehead - Cont'd from page 4 Where they saw court in session, and from there to Fire Hall, where they were shown fire fighting equip ment. On Friday, they were shown through the News Chronicle office:and had a demonstration on how a paper is put together. They also visited the Co-Op Dairy, where they saw milk arrive, be pasteurized and made into various milk products. A visit to Shaw's Bakery proved to be another interesting stop. A visit to Centennial Park, with its animals was of great interest. From there, they went to Bear Point Hydro plant and were shown how water is taken and purified for human consumption. Next, the pupils were taken on a tour of St. Joseph's Hospital, then to the Keefer Terminal, where they viewed the harbour, grain boats and the elevators . A highlight of the trip took place when they went to CKPR T.V. studios, and were shown where the programs originate from. A tired and excited group then took the bus and headed homewards, feeling the whole trip had been very worthwhile.
