The cere- mony will take place at 1] a.m. on the morning of June 29th - the beginning of the Dominion Day holi- day weekend. A definite site on which the plaque will stand has not been announced, but township 'council are con- sidering a spot in Centennial Park. illustrating some of his pupils* work, was a discussion during which questions concerning the program, lab- oratory techniques, notebooks, and the future of the approach were answered by Mr. Baratta. Following the luncheon, Mr. R. Kenney, Principal of St. Martin's School, closed the workshop with a brief report of his trip to the Lakehead with the Grade 8 students of St. Martin's School. He went on to speak of the place of science in the home and school, and its relevance to the conservation of the natural resources which abound around us. He concluded by quoting examples of extreme pollution he had wit- nessed during their Lakehead excursion. Shown in the top photo below (both by Marg Lundburg) are some of the Principals who attended the Science Workshop. They are, from left to right: J. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Paulsen have returned from the East, where they attended the convocation exer- cises at the University of Toronto, at which time their daughter, Dianne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
