LIBERAL COMMITTEE ELECTED FOR 1968 A most enthusiastic Liberal meeting was held on Friday, May 17th, at which the following Committee was elected for 1968. Past President - J. Kennedy; President - E. Cavanaugh; Ist Vice - Dick Baron, in ¢ charge of local campaign; 2nd Vice - Paul Coupal, in charge of Financial membership; 3rd Vice - Mrs. Marcella, Ladies Convenor; Secretary - Mrs. A. McKie; Advisory Board - B. Roberts and G. Ramsay. The President elect thanked the 35 members present and in a short address stressed the importance of the coming election and called on all Liberals to get in- volved to make certain no opportunity is missed to get the country united and moving under a Trudeau government. Mr. Dick Baron who had taught with Mr. Penner, the Liberal candidate, for a number of years, gave the meeting a glowing report on the qualifications of our candidate and recommended that he would certainly make an excellent member for Thunder Bay Cont'd over page
