A very impressive ceremony took place in the Terrace Bay Community Chufch Sunday morning when the C.G.1.T. held their Graduation Exercises and reception of new Seniors. The girls marched into the Sanctuary, to the Pro- cessional Hymn, "Youth of the World Arise" and took their places in the Chancel. Brian Hubelit was the organist. - Rev. Husser led the service with the Invocation Prayer. After the hymn, "Take My Life and Let It Be", the initiation ceremony was used as a Re=dedi- cation. The Graduation Ceremony was opened by Rev. - Husser. Mr. Harry Coe, Peoples Warden; Mr. John Dejonghe, Minister's Warden; Mrs. Donna Broadhurst President of the Ladies Auxiliary; and Mr. Bob Harris of the Sunday School, took part in this service. Each girl was presented with a lighted candle, whic represents the Light of the World and the light they carry with them as they leave C.G.I.T. to go out .into the world. Each Graduate was given a long stemmed red rose and her Graduation Certificate. Those graduating GOSPEL MISSION - Mr. H. Heikkila Worship Service - first Sunday each month at 7 p.m. Graham and Kristine Olsen. The new Seniors . were: Louise Brooks, Nancy Gould, Patricia Kelty, Gail Simmer and Jackie Turner. The World Friendship Badge was presented to the C.G.1I.T. This Badge is given to the girls who have taken Mission Study for the first time. The C.G.1.T. leaders are Mrs. Helen Brooks, Superintendant, Mrs. Barbara Mendelin, Mrs. Jean Megraw, Meredith Coe, Shirley Phillips and Lori Nickaluk.
