'Walter Ilijow visited in Nipigon with his son Stanley and family over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs: W. Kirkpatrick and daughter Shelly are in Ottawa where Mr. Kirkpatrick is attending a convention, and from there they will go to Kingston to visit their son Brock. 'Mrs. Violet Nesbitt is in the Port Arthur General Hospital . Mrs. Frank Auger visited her brothers Jack and Wally and their families over the weekend. Mrs. Lorraine Huard was in Frot William to be matron of honor at the wedding of her friend, Diane Kibsey . Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Cocks of Fort William wend th weekend with their parents - Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cocks and Mr. and Mrs. J. St. Jean. Mr. and Mrs. E. Orchard and son of Fort William visited Mrs. Orchards' parents, Mr. and Mrs.-D Huard. Miss Heather Crowhurst's parents of the Lakehead were her guests for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. S. Godin and son Gerard, of Timmons, visited Mrs. David Godin last week, and others in the Godin family. Mr. and Mrs. W. Tomiak, with Terry and Michael and Mrs. G. Kowalyshyn of Winnipeg, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. A. LeBlanc. Mrs. R. Kirby and family of Port Arthur spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. J. Maclsaac. Mr. and Mrs. R. Cote of Espanola, drove Mrs. H. Stewart home and then went on to visit in Ger- aldton and Nakina. Mrs. Stewart had spent the pas two weeks in Espanola. TERRACE BAY NEWS Crystal Kusik was given a surprise shower in the home of Mrs. G. Drake, by 24 neighbors . The gifts, kitchen gadgets gift-wrapped in tea towels, were presented a decorated laundry basket, also a gift by Laureen Kusik and Lynne Drake. A wedding tableau centered the lunch table and the hostess was assisted in serving by Mesdame Alex Bower, H. Gellert and H. Jartus. The prizes for contests, arranged by Mrs. A. Gordon and Mrs. R. Macadam were also presented to the bride-elect. A.C.W. DESSERT TEA A SUCCESS A dessert tea given recently by the Schreiber Anglican Church Women was successful. President Mrs. A. C. Rigels- ford received. Paurers were Mrs. J. D. Bry son, Mrs. E...C. Prinselaar, Mrs. Bill Stefurak and Mrs, Jack Corbett. Servitors were Mrs. Ralph Mrs. C Sparkes Mrs. Robert Winters sold tickets and Mrs. George Birch and Mrs. Ted Wilson were in charge of the sewirg. Mr. and Mrs. S.
