The first musical guest artists of the evening were a newly formed group - The Bert Lohr Choristers. This is a mixed choral group, who have banded to- gether for sheer love of singing. With Mrs. Marilyn Chisholm at the piano, the Choristers presented two songs, "Turn Ye To Me", and "The Desert Song". The Band returned with a composition by Kenneth Henderson - "Around the Town", featuring the trumpet. The reed section were featured in the modern Glen Miller sound of "Sweet Winds."
