Mrs. Geoff Birch and Mrs. Reg Bailey were named hostesses for the June meeting. Mrs. A.C. Rigelsford presided for the meeting and Mrs. Ralph Morrill gave the closing prayer. Lunch was served by Mrs. J.D. Bryson and Mrs. George Birch. KRERERKEKERRERERRREKRRERERRERERER Mrs. Keith Nesbitt was given a surprise baby shower in her own home by nine friends, when Mrs. Ken Williamson was hostess, assisted by Mrs. Wesley Miller and Mrs. Neil Nesbitt. Mr. and Mrs. George Noble of Sudbury visited Mrs. Noble's sisters, Mrs. Charlie Pearson and Mrs. Wayne Wilson, and her. brother Bill Paradis. The color television, raffled by the Knights of Columbus at their Easter ball was won by Joe Campbell of Terrace Bay. Mrs. W.A. Mullins and D'Arcy McGuire represented Holy Angels' Separate School at the Catholic School convention in Toronto. Mrs. Ambrose McGrath, who accompanied Mrs. Mullins, is visiting her brother Edson Morrill and family in Toronto. David Penner of Kenora visited his brother Frank Penner last week. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Aber of St.St. Marie are. visiting the latter's father, George Duncan. Members will attend diocesan convention L.R. Tremblay presided for the May meeting 'of thé Catholic .Parent-Teachers Association with 55 present. Twelve members stated their intention of attending the diocesan convention in Fort Wil- liam. Mrs. John Maclsaac was named chairman of the nominating committee to be assisted by Mrs. Edmund Borutsky and Mrs. Gerry Thrower. Two films were shown, the first on Child Be- havior followed by a discussion on the subject, and the second shown by Corp. Kulmatycki on traffic accidents. The attendance prize was won by Sister St. Timothy's room and the draw prize, a set of bathtowels donated by Costa's, was won by Joe Wills. MINOR HOCKEY BANQUET MAY 5th There will be a banquet on Sunday, May 5th, in Schreiber Legion Hall at 6 p.m. for all boys from PeeWees to Juveniles, sponsored by the Schreiber Minor Hockey Exec. Dinner will be served by ladies of Schreiber Legion Auxiliary and team- and individual trophies will be presented. A guest speaker will be on hand and hockey films ~ will be shown. Cano at their regular meeting on April 2lst: Mrs. Kay Stefurak, President Mrs. Teresa Stortini, First Vice President Mrs. Dolores Spikula, Second Vice President Mrs. Irene Borutski, Third Vice President Miss Marion Prescott, recording secretary Mrs. Joyce Jarosz, corresponding secretary Mrs. Rena Ross, treasurer. Other Officers are- by appointment of the ' President. The meeting was opened by Mrs. Norah McGuire retiring after two years as President, who thanked the members and director Father Cano for their co-operation and in turn was given a standing ovation for her most successful term in office.
