This is an example of vandalism which turns our Recreation Centre into an unsightly building to visitors to our town, as well as an embarassment to our citizens. Lacrosse - It wi Il be some time before the arena- floor is completely free of frost, dried out and coated with a sealer, and therefore we will have to wait until the floor is ready before scheduling any lacrosse games. However, this activity will get underway as soon as possible, and registration forms will be distributed in the near future. Roller Skating - It will be approximately two to three weeks, depending on the arena floor, before this activity will get underway. Watch the NFWS for further information. Summer Employment - Last minute registrations are still being accepted on our Swim Pool and Play- ground programs, and will be until the end of this week. Get yours in now, if you haven't already done so. Tennis Courts - The tennis courts should be ready: for playing in approximately a week's time, weather permitting, as a certain amount of work has to be done before the courts can be utilized. Playground equipment - We realize that the play- grounds are all in need of repair, owing to vandal- ism during the winter. Supplies are on order and thése areas' will be repaired as soon as the materials are received and the Recreation Centre caretaker can get around to this work. New Programmes - If you have any ideas about new programmes which you would like to see introduced to Terrace Bay, please call the Recreation Office (3542) and tell us about them. We will be very glas to discuss this with you. If there is any particu- lar craft or hobby on which you would like to have a course or workshop run in Terrace Bay, we would be pleased to hear about this too.
