TERRACE BAY NEWS MARCH 25, 1968 SCHREIBER HOCKEY CLUB ELECTS OFFICERS A meeting of the Schreiber Junior Hockey Cfub was called to order by President F. Eickmeir on April 21 at 1 p.m. in the Legion Club room. Minutes of the last meeting were read and adopt- ed on motion by K. Davis and J.D. Bromley carried Election of officers was held and the results are as follows: President - F. Eickmier by J.D. Brom- ley; First Vice-President - J.D. Bromley by K. Davis; Second Vice-President - G. Speck by L. Karens; Governor -.K. Davis by L. Hiller; Alter- nate Governor - F. Eickmeir; Secretary - L. Hiller' by K. Davis; Treasurer - L. Small by R. Ellacott; Ways and Means - F. MacDonald and K. Davis volunteered; Directors - L. Karens, J. Powers, R. Ellacott, J. Friesan, R. Hill, F. Harness. J.D. Bromley moved a vote of thanks to J. Mc- Couan for his active work with the Schreiber ac ey Club and the move was carried. It was moved by K. Davis, and seconded by F. Eickmier that the Executive hold at least one meet- ing a month. The date is to be set by the President It was moved by G. Speck and seconded by K. Davis that the following appointments be made: | Coach - N. Boon; Manager - J. O'Driscoll; Train- er - F. McColeman; Assistant Trainer - B. Weaver G. Speck volunteered for publicity. It was moved by L. Karens and seconded by G. Speck that K. Davis and F. Eickmier be appointed to go to T.B.H.A. meeting on May 11 at Port Arthur. K. Davis is to be the voting delegate. The Treasurers report was read by L. Small and adopted on a motion by J. Powers and seconded by R. Ellacott. There was a general discussion on the forming of an auxiliary to the club and it was decided that they would ask some of the ladies of the town to form same. It was then moved by L. Karens and seconded by J. Powers that the meeting be adjourned. 6 oe Oe ee a ae a ee COMPUTERIZED TIMETABLE FOR HIGH SCHOOLS]: All Canadian high schools may be under the same computer-controlled timetable system within four years, says Office Equipment & Methods. A giant information system is now being used by four Ottawd, high schools to handle timetabling, attendance and statistical reports, report cards and letters to par- ents. It is hoped to handle up to 6,000 schools in 72 hours when in full operation by 1972.
