Games Room - Recently, a youth group met with the Recreation Committee and expressed their interest in remodelling and re-opening this Games Room. They presented their plans to the Committee, which were received favourably, and they have been given permission to proceed with the remodelling of this room, working in close co-operation with the Recrea tion Director. The Committee was very pleased to ° have evidence of a youth interest in this capacity and hopes that this group of young people will restore faith in the young people of this town. We are now looking forward to seeing what these young people can accomplish. Swjm Pool Vandalism - At this time of year there is always an outbreak of vandalism in and around the pool area, and already this winter several plastic panels in the windbreak screen have been broken and will have to be replaced - this at the expense of the taxpayers of the town. We are serving notice herein that any offenders of trespassers in this area or around the Centre will be prosecuted. Re- cent statistics reveal that there 55,000 boys register ed in minor Lacrosse in Ontario, which is a true in- dication that Lacrosse - Canada's native national game - is on the upswing.
