BADMINTON CLUB WINS N'SHORE HIGH SCHOOL TROPHY FOR FIRST TIME --$----$-- EEE FIROT TIME For the first time since Terrace Bay has had a - badntinten club entering for the High School Trophy they won, against teams from Chapleau, Manitou- wadge, Schreiber, Nip-Rock, Geraldton and the home team, in a Round=Robin Tournament on April 6th in Terrace Bay High School. The Terrace Bay team of George Dashkewytch - boys singles; Susan Graham - girls singles; Reid Boutilier and Esnest Uzicanin - boys doubles; Claudette Boudreau and Jane Persson - girls doubles, and Don McMilla | and Linda Ballentine - mixed doubles, won 21 of their possible 25 games to become the winners. The Terrace Bay boys singles, doubles and mixed doubles won all their games. There was a three wa tie between Manitouwadge, Nip-Rock and Terrace Bay in the girls singles, each having one loss. Manitouwadge won the girls doubles with no losses. The Terrace Bay girls doubles won two of their games against Schreiber and Chapleau. Terrace Bay won with a total of 126 points. Manitouwadge were second with 102 points, and Nip-Rock, last year's winners, were 3rd with 90 pts TERRACE BAY NEWS SUMMER RECREATION STAFF REQUIRED APPLICATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE TERRACE BAY RECREATION OFFICE CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS IS MAY 1, 1968 and Ralph Coe.
