Mrs. Lapenskie presented Mrs. Ibey with a bouquet of red roses and Ken Bowlier presented Mr. Ibey with a gift of luggage along with the best wishes for a happ y retirement. District Forester Eric Gage spoke briefly. He also ' gave Len a radio message from Regional Director L. Ringham, of Port Arthur, expressing his best wishes for a long and happy retirement. Kenney A Baby Shower was held recently, for Mrs. Kyphy ' Chow, in the home of Pam Jones. Hostesses were 'Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Clara Gould. Mrs. Chow was presented with many beautiful gifts by the 13 ladies present, in a gaily decorated hamper. A cold plate was served and the guests enjoyed an evening of games and social talk. Dryden came back strong, and exerted pressure that finally resulted in a tie at the end of the Ist period. Both teams played breathtaking hock ey for the remainder of the game; although scoring chances were numerous on both sides , neither side could flash the red light. The overtime period had hardly started when Ronnie Zwaresh received a pass from Danny Edmunds and Mark Dashkewytch, and scored the winning goal. His shot completely fooled the Dryden goalie, and Terrace 'Bay had won the "B" Championship. All players played above and beyond our greatest expectations. Maurice Cadieux in goal was the talk of the crowds. David Sitko and Eddie Zwaresh on defence were spectacular. Mark Dashkewytch scored 6 goals to lead the scorers and added 4 assists Danny Edmunds, 3 goals and 9 assists, Ronnie Zwar- esh, 3 goals and 5 assists and Kenny Hanley, 3 goals and 3 assists. It was team effort that wen and all the boys should be congratulated.
