Legault presented the financial state- ment. Improvements to the altar and back wall were discussed. Members thought this should be left till a later date. They felt that the money should be raised first before starting. New lights are to be purchased for the Grotto. It was decided to heat the church for Holy Week. Plans were made for a Penny Auction and Bingo with prizes to be purchased. Following adjournment, luncheon was' served and a social hour spent. The Recording Secretary, Mrs. Lespenski, who leaves to reside in Terrace Bay, was presented with a piece of jewellery by the president. Yandon's home Tuesday evening with Mrs. T. Seppala presiding. Following the o- pening prayers, articles of sewing and novelties w were handed in for a bazaar and penny auction to be held in the near future. More sewing material was distributed to the members. Secretary-Treas- urer Mrs. Ibey presented the financial statement and read the minutes and correspondence. Follow- ing adjournment the hostess served luncheon.
