The question of new stoves for the kitchen arose. The present stoves are not in the best of condition, and it was decided to purchase two new ones. Mrs. Farrow recommended that the kitchen be kept locked during the summer months, when Church activities are ata minimum. She also suggested that the cut- lery should not be loaned for use outside the kitchen World Day of Prayer will take place on March 1 in the Sanctuary at 2 p.m. It was decided to invite members of the C .W.L. to join in worship. Tea will be served in the Sunday School rooms, and a baby sitting service provided. Lunch will be taken care of for the March meeting by June Schritt and Marge Lundberg. In her closing remarks, Mrs. Brown thanked every- one for their help and co-operation during her two years in office, and stated she had enjoyed her work in the Church as president. She expressed her best wishes to the incoming executive and thanked the Nominating committee who had worked hard to bring in a new slate of officers for 1968. Under new business, Mrs. Marilyn Chisholm, Nom inating Convenor presented a list of new officers and asked Rev. Husser to preside for the elections. He mentio ed some of the areas that the Auxiliary had been particularly helpful, such-as welcoming new comers to the community, buying the gestetner and other equipment, purchasing new Hymn Books, and help- ing with the Transient Fund. Looking into 1968, Rev. Husser mentioned some of the projects that the Ladies Auxiliary might help put into reality; such as painting the Church, new all-weather carpeting for the Narthex, a proposed new organ, and possibly a new 16 mm projector which all organizations would find useful. He said this is a year of Communication and he hoped to see more communication between the Church Board, the Ladies Auxiliary, the Sunday School and the teen- agers. There is a need for more fellowship in the congregation, and he proposed that on a layman's Sunday, perhaps the ladies of the congregation would take over a morning Worship service.
