After the dinner, Mr. J.A. Ferrier, Master of Ceremonies, introduced Mr. Jim Crook and Mr. Mr. Mills Keith Scott of Schreiber, and Mr. Frank Sutherland of Terrace Bay, who gave some readings from the poems of Robbie Burns. Mr. Ferrier then called upon Mr. Mills who told some amusing anecdotes . Scottish songs were sung with Mrs. Norma Fumm erton at the piano. A beautiful back-drop was painted for the event by Mrs. Sadie Gaulin of Terrace Bay. It depicted Loch Lomond, with sheep grazing on the hill side and brought a touch of Scotland into the room. Dancing was enjoyed by all to the music of Stan ley Spadoni and Tony Commisso. Bill Kurylo was in charge of arrangements for the evening. 'CURLING NEWS O'Keefe Mixed Curling Three local teams are presently curling to decide a Terrace Bay Representative for this event. The winner will curl against Nipigon, Schreiber and Marathon in Terrace Bay om February 3rd and 4th to decide a North Shore Representative for the Northwestern playoffs in Port Arthur. These play- offs, of course, lead eventually to the Dominion playoffs. Sweethearts' Spiel This popular event is scheduled for the weekend of February 10th and 11th.
