Public Skating - New music tapes have just arrived at the Centre and add considerably to the enjoy~ ment of pleasure skating. TERRACE BAY FISH AND GAME ASSOCIATION At the annual meeting held this month the following offi- cers were elected: President - Roy Keller, Vice-President- Frank Sutherland; Treasurer - Elmer Persson and Secretary - Stan Hodgkiss. Regular business included a discussion on 1968 memberships and it was decided to once again offer membership in the club to include liability insurance of $100 per member. The matter of Hunter Safety Training classes was also re- viewed and a survey will be made to determine if there is sufficient demand in the community to continue with these classes. The Northwestern Ontario Conservation Federation is pleas- ed to announce the creation of a scholarship for the purpose of assisting a Grade 13 student, from Northwestern Ontario, towards abtaining a degree in Biology or Forestry. Total value of this award will be $600 extended over a four year period. Qualification for this scholarship is to be based on aca- demic standing and need for assistance. The student mst also be a Canadian citizen, attending a Canadian university, after having been resident in Northwestern Ontario. The award will be known as the "Robert Shultz Memorial Scholarship", in mem- ory of the late Robert Shultz of Red Rock who for many years was active in the field of conservation education, on behalf of the Federation. The Terrace Bay Fish & Game Association is an active mem- ber of the Northwestern Federation, which in turn is designat- ed as Zone One of the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters.
