Mrs. Herbert Legault left Wednesday for a holiday} with relatives in Calais Maine and Detroit, Michiga After forty-two years as general merchant in Ross- port, Chas. Todesco is retiring at the end of the month. His business is up for sale and the stock is being cleared out. It will seem odd not having Charlie, as he is known to all, greeting the villagers over his counter. Mr. & Mrs. Lionel Hubelit of Wawa are visiting the former's parents Mr. & Mrs. Mac Hubelit. Miss Joyce Mushqush and Ron Lanigan were Lake- head visitors this weekend. Also visitors to the Lakehead recently were Mr. & Mrs. L.Rochon and son Roy. Floyd Harden spent the weekend with the Seppala family. Lynn Haas of Hamilton is visiting her grandmother Mrs. Russell McBride. George Duncan has returned from Flin Flon, Manitoba where he visited his son Avery Duncan and family. Innes West is in Terrace Bay Hospital . Mrs. P,Minoletti, son Peter and Miss Sandra Shaw of Fort William are visiting Mrs. West. Mrs. Bill Mullins and son Kevin were among those visiting Expo during the summer. Visiting Mr. & Mrs. Mullins recently were the former's father and uncle Thomas and Martin Mullins of Killaloe. | Mrs. Fred Harness is in Toronto visiting her daught er Ora Mae who is on the staff of Scarboro Hospital Mr. & Mrs. Bob Sherman moved to Chapleau this week where he has been transferred by the C.P.R. Mrs. D'Arcy McGuire has gone to St. Joseph's Island to attend the funeral of her brother-in-law. Archie McColeman flew to Marquette, Michigan. to visit his sister, Miss Edna McColeman who is ill. Mr. & Mrs. Alex Furyk will spend their vacation in Winnipeg and Emerson, Manitoba . Mrs. W.G. Furlonger will attend the annual meeting of the Cancer Association at the Lakehead . Friday and Saturday. Visiting with Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Hewson this week have been the latter's sister and husband - Mr. & Mrs. Harry Poole of Mallortown, Ontario, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Morrill have moved into the former United Church manse. Mss. Bill Campbell was honored by seventeen friends who met in her home to present a shower of baby gifts. Lunch was served by Mrs. John Spikula and Mrs. Bob Campbell .
