Demand for business computer specialists will continue to increase in the future and graduates of such a programme will be highly sought after by government, business and other institu- tions. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: (1) Applicants must have completed successfully the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma granted upon the completion of the fourth year of any one of the five-year pro- grammes. They must have passed English 'and Mathematics in Grades 11 and 12 and any two of History, Geography or Economics in Grade 12 and one other appropriate subject, with an overall average of at least 60%. (2) Obtain a satisfactory score on an aptitude test designed to measure a student's ability in the Business Computer field. If an applicant does. not possess the necessary academic prerequi- sites he may be admitted if his score on the aptitude test 'is extremely high. TERRACE BAY NEWS August 24, 1967 TERRACE BAY TEEN TOWN DANCE Terrace Bay Teen Town is holding a dance jin the Arena on Thursday, 'Aug. 3Ist. The original group planned for that evening was THE CHURCH KEYS. There has been a change and there will be a new group appearing called THE HEAT WAVE.: They are a seven-piece band on tour from the States, featuring a negro singer. Roller Skating Roller skating takes place every Sun- day from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m: in the Arena. Support the Terrace Bay Navy League who operate roller skating in conjunction with the Recreation Assoc- iation. Last week there was an excep- tionally large crowd. Join the group and make it a family affair. Lacrosse Lacrosse sessions are still being held every Monday and Tuesday evenings at the Arena. Last week the girls and managed to beat them 4-3. If you are interested in playing look for the scheduled times on the Arena bulletin board. GRADE 13 EXAMINATION RESULTS Percentage of passes on papers wrif- ten at Schreiber High School was 77.5. At this event the annual presentation of the Duriez Trophy will be made to the swimmer who has shown the greatest progress and made the most contribution to the Swim Programme during the summer.
