The program opened with a spirited accordian duo, Christine Kurchina and Frank Dzijacky who were followed by the Prosvita Ladies Choir under the direct ion of Harry Myhal. Guest artists for the evening were a group of Italian dancers who performed twice during the evening. This group appeared through the courtesy of the Canadian Centennial Commission and came from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Preceding the Japanese Youth Dancers were the Fort William Polish Youth Dancers and the Otava Male Choir. The last two groups in the first half of the program were the Slovak Youth singers and the Pe © Arthur Estonian Folk Dancing Group , who drew several encores for their hearty foot stomping. The same groups appeared in the second half of the program and the final item comprised the entire Lake- head Slovak Cultural Group performing the Slovak National Dance.
