Anthony Speziale and Harold Shack of the staff were in charge of the program. Following the dinner the 12th annual inspection took place in the town hall,- attended by a large audience, after which 4 first aid demonstration was car- ried out by brigade members, with Mrs. Rummery explain- ing the procedures for fractured pelvis, knee-cap, 'injured face and hand, burns, and artificial respiration. B.C. BEEFEATER BAND TO PERFORM JULY 18 The Beefeaters are the official British Columbia Lions Marching Band regularly featured at half time ceremonies, winning the plaudits of over 30,000 football fans. The band has been featured in four Grey Cup half time classics in 1966, 1963, 1960 and 1958. The Beefeater Band recently returned from the Pasa- dena Rose Bow! Show where if was featured as the B.C. Centennial Beefeater Band. They will be fea- tured at Expo, Pan American Games, and the Lions International Convention, Chicago during 1967. In 1964 and 1962. the band represented Canada and British Columbia at the New York and Seattle World's Fair. They will perform in this area July 18 in the Schr- eiber Arena. ------------_ Rev. St. Timothy, principal, and Harold Shack, R. Piche, and Mrs. H. Fleming Lt. Col. Brown presented a 32 year seryice medal to Mrs. Rummery. Mrs. Burnell present- ed corporal ensignia and bri- gade awards for first aid and home nursing to Mrs. Saimi Willoughby Councillor Sinotte presented first aid badges to Terrace Bay Girl Guides. Councifla? McPar- land presented First Aid certif- icates fo Schreiber high school army cadets. Other presentation recipients were Marion Prescott, Mrs. Glenora Harrison and Dorothy Harrison, medallion and fir st pendant; Donald Almos, first label; Althea Graham, Arnold Stortini and Dianne Rummery, 2nd label; Helen Dooley, 3rd la- bel; Hilda Relph and David Rigelsford, 6th label; Dorothy Willoughby, 10th label; Dorothy Rummery, 12th label; Helen Jartiis, 14th label.
