Vol. 10 No. 20 SPRING FASHION SHOW Convenor, Mrs. Ivy Pattison welcomed over a capacit audience to the lounge of the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel as a Spring Show of fashions from Kolesar's of Terrace Bay was presented by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Comm- unity Church. Opening the program was a parade of Centennial gown created by their wearers, which drew many gasps of admiration for the detailed and authentic styling. It was felt many ladies would be inspired to plan their gowns after seeing these examples. Made from different patterns easily obtained from the Toronto museum, a variety of materials were used. Last week's winners were Gordon Calder, Victor Timpano, Cliff Knauff, Sr., George McKay and Jack Brooks. Accidents seem to be accepted as a way of life. This is not as it should be for it has been proven that accidents are preventable at home, at work or at play. No one can afford an accident.
