With the help of a large architectural photograph and brochures, he explain- ed the magnitude of the present building program and the campaign for public support which will em- brace not only the Lakehead cities, but all North- western Ontario communities . M:.H.Sharp, President of the Carpenters Union in the Lakehead, then spoke on the support being given to this program by Labour Unions. Following the speakers, a question and answer period was held. A committee was formed to further investigate the proposals set forth during the meeting; this com- mittee will meet on Thursday, April 20th. Both M-. Morgan and M-; .Sharp have agreed to return to Ter- race Bay to attend a public meeting in the very near future, to present the program again to all in- terested. Members of the present Committee are:- Mesd. Chisholm, Bouchard and Ferrier and Messrs. P. Romanuk, R.Harris, P.Stuart, G.Ramsay, J.Cac- camo, J.Papousek, E.Cavanaugh and A. Pattison - Chairman. Sixteen skaters took part in a Maple Leaf Ballet before Club Professional, Barbara Hutcheon made an appearance . Following th e Finale when all skaters were on the ice gifts were presented to Miss Chicka, Miss Kartinen, Mrs.Hutcheon and Terry Delaronde on behalf of the Club.
