A farewell party was held at the home of Theresa & Rene Gaudet in honor of Gayle and Ron Marquis where they were presented with a farewell gift by many of their friends before leaving Terrace Bay for a new home in Duncan, B.C. Sympathy is extended to Mrs. E.Cavanaugh on the recent passing of her brother, James Devine in Pitts- burgh, Pennsylvania. Norma Chesley has returned to St. Mary's Academy, North Bay to resume her studies after spending Easter with her mother, Mrs. Mary Chesley. Mr. Bob Coleman has arrived in Terrace Bay to take over the local office of Crescent Finance. He will be joined by his wife shortl . J. Gunn have left to make their new home in Dryden, Ontario where Jim will manage the Crescent Finance branch. Mrs.R.Scott is home recuperating after her stay in hospital . Mr. Ned West and Mr. Pat Jones are in Lakehead hospital . We welcome back to Terrace Bay, Mrs. C .Mit-' chell, after a lengthy stay in a Lakehead hospital . Mrs. A. Sinkins visited Mrs. Mary Duguid in |Port Arthur over the weekend. Recent visitors to the Lakehead were Mr.and Mrs. P.Caron, Mrs. Cole, Mr.Lundberg, Mr. and Mrs. P.Coupal and Mrs.Pam Jones. LADIES HANDICAP TOURNAMENT HELD | On Saturday night a Ladies Bowling tournament was| held with Pam Jones taking high single game plus high four games with handicap. Pam started out with 192 then 315 (which was high game) then 161, and ended with 238 for our fourth game for a total, with handicap, of 1074. Theresa Gaudet was second, Stella Brown was third, Marg .Pedersen was fourth and Jan Hall fifth. The ladies were enthusiastic and i minha OutO the next tournament.
