SCHREIBER NEWS The Schreiber Gospel Mission is holding a special missionary week February 27 to March 5. On Monday February 27 a missionary on furlough from Ethiopia, Mr. Melvin Donald showed a film. On Wednesday, a special speaker will be present at the regular prayer service, and will give a message centred on missions. Sunday, March 5, Miss Ann Ellis on furlough from India will be speaking, showing slides and displaying native costumes and crafts. All evening meetings begin at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Reeve Harness, J.D.Phillips and G. Caccamo of the local commission are in Toronto attending a convention of the H.E.P.C. Mrs. Caccamo accomp- anied her husband. Mr. & Mrs. Gary Drake will leave shortly for Winn- ipeg where on March 13, they will attend the Diamond wedding celebration of Mrs. Drake's parents, Mr. & Mrs. David B oyd. Mr. & Mrs. Neil Whent and Mrs. Lily Hill spent the weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Tommy Whent. The Neil Whents' are going to a new home in Winnipeg. MARCHING MOTHERS COLLECT $378.43 Mrs. J.R.Rummery reported a sum of $378.42 was collected in the March of Dimes. ST JOHN AMBULANCE MEMBERS TO EXPO Word has been received from Provincial Headquart- 'ers in Toronto that four members of Schreiber Combin- ed Division will be among the St.John Ambulance volunteers to staff nine first aid posts, including one Federal building, at Expo 67. The first aid posts will be operated from 9.a.m. tola.m. each day and the uniformed Brigade members will be on duty eight hours a day, seven consecutive days each. Volunteers from Schreiber chosen for one week's duty include Donald Almos in May, Mrs. Dorothy Rummery, brigade superintendent August, Arnold Stortini September and Mrs . Helen Dooley October.
