They played in Marathon Sunday and defeated Branch 183's rink skipped by Joe Kolotylo, 13-2. Now they advance to the finals being held in Geraldton. MEN's CURLING NEWS Congratulations to Ken Johnson's rink of R .Roberts, C .Koski and B. Hayes who won the club playdowns and are contenders for the North Western. It was touch and go between Johnson and McLeod for this honour. The men's league also wish to congratulate Sylvia Duquette's rink for their wins at Manitouwadge who now represent the Women's North Western here on Jan. 23,24 and 25. Due to ice demands, our challenge games scheduled for January 28 have been cancelled until another date is set. All games of the second round must be finished by January 20.
