IRENE STUART WEDS GARRY JOSEPH CAMERON St.Martin's Roman Catholic Church, Terrace Bay, was beautifully decorated with bouquets of pink and white gladioli for the wedding of Irene Louise Stuart, daughter of Mr.&Mrs.P. Stuart of Terrace Bay, and Garry Joseph Cameron, son of Mr.&Mrss. A.Cameron, Marathon. The double ring ceremony was performed at || a.m. on Saturday, October 29 by the Very Rev.Dean Gallagher. The best man was Donald MacKay and the ushers were Mr. Ronald Stuart and Mr. Henry Stuart. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a long white peau de soie gown, featuring an empire waistline, lace trimmed elbow length sleeves, lace trimmed neckline and a band of lace around the waist. Her headdress was a crystal tiara with a tear drop in the centre, and a shoulder length veil of illusion net. She carried a bouquet of baby red roses. BIGGEST SELL POWER The bridesmaids, Miss Mary Ellen Little and Miss Mona Cameron chose street length pink peau-de soie dresses with empire waistline and white lace jackets with long sleeves. They carried bouquets of mums. The flower girl, Marie Rochon, was dressed similar to the bridesmaids and carried a large white rose. Organ music was supplied by Mrs.Buck and solos were rendered by Mrs.R.Gavin, both of Terrace Bay . At a buffet supper and reception in the curling lounge, a toast to the bride was proposed by Mr. R. Belliveau and responded to by Mr.Donald MacKay The bride's mother greeted the guests wearing a gold three piece suit and gold accessories. The groom's mother chose a mottled dress in green, white and beige, with beige accessories. For a honeymoon in the Lakehead the bride left wearing a burgundy wool dress, with elbow length sleeves covered in white lace. On their return they have taken up residence in Marathon. Out-of-town guests included Mr.&Mrs.L .Patry, Mr.&Mrs.R.Patry, Dr.&Mrs.D.L.Rahkola, Mr. & Mrs .R.MacKay, Mr.&.Mrs. R.Cress, Craig Chisa- more and Diane Bertin, all of Marathon, and Mr. &Mrs. O.Laine of Schreiber.
