CURLING NEWS At a meeting of the executive of the Men's Curling Club on Monday evening the following events were scheduled: 1. Annual Meeting - to be held in the Curling Club Lounge at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11th. A stag will follow the meeting, with a sport movie be- ing shown. Chairman is Bob Roberts. 2. Turkey Bonspiel - The annual opening 'spiel will. be held on November 4, 5 and 6th. This will be a mixed event open to all local residents. Jack Chap- man is chairman. 3. Scheduled Curling:- Regular club curling will commence on November 7th. Membership chairman is Benny Hayes, assisted by Rocky Gavin and Hector McLeod.
