Miss Ward is the daughter of Mr.George Ward, Assistant Scaler at Camp #48 of the Company's Woodlands Division. She won this annual award by achieving the highest percentage on Grade 13 departmental examinations of three Geraldton-Long Lac and Terrace Bay students qualified to compete this year.
