The skaters are sanctioned by the C.F.S.A. This will be a lead-up performance by the Terrace Bay Figure Skating Club to their Ice Follies Show on February 26th and 27 th. GRAND FINALE - A demonstration of b arret jump- ing will be given by three local boys jumping a series of barrels on skates. This is an outstanding event and barrell jumping has become a champion- ship competition throughout Canada. In conjunction with the Barrel jumping a spectacular and death- defying stunt will be demonstrated by two local boys in the jump of fire, to close off the Friday evening programme at the Arena. There will be door prize draws each hour at the Arena throughout the Friday evening events. Sever- al valuable prizes have been donated by local and outside firms; for example - Mayor Saul Laskin of Port Arthur has personally donated a beautiful stand ashtray valued at $18.00.
