IN THE CURLING LOUNGE sie i ete accent ete ee | --_ _ NAME YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IF ANY CURLING PREFERRED - AFTERNOON DESIRED POSITION OF PLAY - SKIP PAST PRESIDENT IS HONOURED ON HER DEPARTURE The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Community Church was held on Monday, October 4th with Mrs. Lois Hopper presiding. Mrs. Marilyn Chisholm accompanied the opening hymn and Mrs. Lynn Wilson led the Worship. The President, Mrs. Lois Hopper, welcomed everyone, stating she was gratified to see so many in attendance. The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Mrs. June Schritt and also the correspondence. Mrs. Betty Turner gave the treasurer's report. Various reports were given: Property, Mrs. Eva Haughn, Ways & Means, Mrs. Virginia Galvin gave her final report of the year and thanked everyone for their co-operation in the past. Mrs. Ivy Pattison gave a report on the coming Christ- mas bazaar and Mrs. Lois Hopper on the bake sale to be held this Saturday, October 9th at 10:00 A.M. at Caccamots Store. Mrs. Hopper turned the meeting over to Mrs, Stella Brown who explained the study was on Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba. She then introduced Mrs. Win McKechnie who spoke on Quebec, Mrs. Brown spoke on Ontario and Mrs. June Schritt on Manitoba, A very nice display of pictures, etc. was shown illustrat ing these provinces. At the close of the programme Mrs. Lois Hopper made a special presentation on behalf of the Auxiliary to Mrs. Virginia Galvin who is a Past President and is also serving on the present executive and is leaving to take TERRACE BAY LADIES CURLING CLUB MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM 1965-66 PHONE LADIES AUXILIARY CONTINUED. up residence in Port Arthur. A gift of a crystal water pitcher was presented to her with the best wishes of the Auxiliary. To close the evening a delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Stella Brown and her committee.
