Despite the cold and threatening snow a good turnout was present and a lot of fun had by everyone. Ray Hansen took first prize with a net 67 score. Ray's golf has progressed a great deal this year. Ned W,st, an ardent golfer, came in second with 68 while Sam Boyd and R.MacAdam were tied for third spot with Z|. This winds up the tournaments for this year. Everyone is looking forward to next summer when tournaments will be held oftener and in a variety of forms. There are many fine golfers coming up and future competitions will create increasing in- terest for everyone. We expect Jack Thomas will inform members on some developments next year at the wind-up ban- quet. Tickets are going very well and we hope e everyone will attend this party. As mentioned be- fore it's going to be a gala affair with no expense spared. NON MEMBERS ARE WELCOME. Don't disappoint them, but make out an order and know in your hearts you helped them in their project. Some of the expenses the Christmas Card Sale cov- ers are: . Repairs to the Scout Camp at White Sand Lake. . Camping equipment. . Half the membership fee is paid by the Associatio . Leaders fee for Scout and Cub Camp. . Many other expenses that occur during the year. Now you can see why we need your support to run our Association successfully for a year and to promote Scouting in Terrace Bay.
