« August 26, 1965 THE NEWS TERRACE BAY HIGH SCHOOL SCHOOL OPENING PROCEDURE ALL students will assemble in the High School Auditorium at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 7th, bringing a binder, paper and pen. Students will be-assigned to their classes at this time. All text books for Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 will be loaned to students by the School Board this year and will be distributed on Tuesday. Each student must purchase personal affects such as binders, pencils, pens and notebooks. Page 5 Combination locks and physical education uniforms will be purchased at the school and will become the permanent property of the student. W. W. DEPARTURE TIMES:- Leave Terrace Bay 8:30 a.m. Leave Schreiber ten minutes after school closing - approximately 3:50 p.m. "Students will be picked up at the Recreation Centre in the morning and taken directly to the Schrei- ber High School. For return trip students will be picked up at Schreiber High School and dropped off at Recreation Centre. No other stops will be made to pick up or let students off. Transportation will leave promptly at stated times. Late students will be left behind. "Students shall not be permitted to drive vehicle under any circumstances." The Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company Limited, Terrace Bay, has started a program to pub- licize their product by placing multi-coloured placards on the sides of all railway freight cars con- tafning bleach kraft pulp manufactured in the Terrace Bay Mill. As the pulp produced at the Terrace Bay Mill is shipped to many centres in Canada and the United States, these placards will help promote Kimberly- Clark products and the community of Terrace Bay. * et es p we - ae § all Photo by Reg Cotton Junior Gardeners Maurice Cadieux (left) and Werner Hermes (right) who were awarded Trophies during the presentation of prizes Saturday evening when the Terrace Bay Horticultural Society con-. ducted their Eleventh annual Flower and Vegetable Show. Both boys received gardening awards, a Trophy and watch, Maurice as Junior and Werner as Senior, from Local 665, International Pulp, Sulphite and Paper Mill Workers, Maurice was also aggregate show winner in the Junior Gardeners receiving the Horticultural Society's Shield. WOMEN OF THE MOOSE MEET Wednesday evening the Women of the Moose held a business meeting in the Terrace Bay Moose Home, with the Senior Regent Marjorie Dejonghe presiding.
