RECREATION NOTICE Weekday Roller Skating will commence on Thursday, July 8 at 7:30 PM and will continue until Septem- ber 2. Sunday skating will remain in effect until mid-October . Playground will commence this summer on Monday, July 5 and will be in effect daily, with the excep- tion of Saturdays and Sundays, until Tuesday, August 3I. The hours will be from 9:00 AM - 12 noon and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM with the Special Events being held on Friday evenings. Children are allowed to come all day. Some of the events to look forward to are: the Track and Field Meet; a Camp-out; Ar- chery; Tennis and much more. Everyone must show their red disc to the cashier. All persons must shower before coming on deck. ANYONE NOT ADHERING TO POOL REGULATIONS WILL BE SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY. Adult classes (Swimmers and non-swimmers) start July 5 at 6:00 P.M. NOTE: All children who have passed Minnows and intend to take instruction will be at the pool at 9:00 AM - Saturday, July 3rd for screening. We are presently engaged in attempting to keep a 9000 acre fire under control, located approximately five miles north of Geraldton at Hutchsion Lake. There will be more about this one in our next news letter but we would like to express our appreciation for the wonderful co-operation and assistance re- ceived from Kimerly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company who supplied most of the men and bulldozers for the initial attack and also to the other districts for the prompt assistance, as well as the local public who gave us all help possible.
