PROJECTIONIST TRAINING COURSE Registrations are now being received at the Terrace Bay Recreation Office for those interested in the Pro- jectionist Training Course for 16 m.m. movie projec- tors. Days and times of classes will depend on the wishes of those registering . A small registration fee will be charged for the course to cover instruction and literature. If you are interested, register at the Recreation Office now. JUNIOR BOWLING REGISTRATIONS Those wishing to emfoll in the Junior Bowling Lea- gue must do so by Friday of this week at the latest. Registrations to date have been very good so that leagues are now ready to begin. If you wish to take part, register immediately with B.Gamble at the Recreation Centre. Leagues are as follows (for boys and girls alike). BANTAM - II years and under. JUNIOR - 12 to 14 years and SENIOR - [5 to 18 years. Leagues will be run on Saturday afternoons and evenings at a charge 50¢ per session, and individual and team awards will be presented at the end of the season. Last call!! Register by Friday. G.CALDER HONOURED AT CEREMONY The Women of the Moose met Wednesday evening with the Senior Regent, Ann Didura in the chair. Balloting took place on two new members to be en- rolled at the November 4th meeting. Recorder Alice Yates read the minutes and correspondence. Senior Regent Didura gave her report on the Tim- mins Convention which proved very interesting and stated that College of Regents Jean Phair, Port Arthur Chapter 1212 capped Graduate Regent Jackie Calder with her green Beanie as an award for the past year. A question and answer period followed and Ann Todesco thanked the Senior Regent for her fine report. Marg Duriez congratulated Graduate Regent Calder on her achievement, being the first Graduate Regent here to receive this honor. The Lodge responded with a round of applause. Further business was discussed and the meeting was closed with plans made for Chapter Night on Nov. Page 7 | 4th, when the Library Committee will be in charge. The Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Monday, Nov. 2nd at 8.15 P.M. in the Terrace Bay Community Church. Mrs.Isobel Ferrier will be in charge of the program. Ladies are requested to bring any suitable articles for children to purchase at the Bazaar's Touch and Take Table. Stan Hodgkiss, President of the Canadian Wildlife Federation and Neil Cornthwaite, President of the Terrace Bay Chamber of Commerce travelled to the Lakehead Monday to attend a reception and dinner commemorating the first meeting in Northwestern Ontario of Prime Minister John P.Robarts, Q.C., and the Cabinet of Ontario and marking the first session of the Executive Council of Ontario ever held outside Queen's Park in Toronto.
