As in the past year, six Cadets will pro- ceed for Summer Training on July 29th until Aug. 15th. This years contingent under the supervision of Sub, Lt. A. McKechnie will have an extra treat in store for them, as the Summer Sea Cadet Training will be held at H.M.C.S. Cornwallis instead of H.M.C.S. Acadia as in the past. Here the Cadets will be able to utilize all the training facilities of the Royal Canadian Navy Training Establishment, and therefore come in contact with the everyday life of a New Entry Trainee. The Cadets chosen for attendance, attitude and examination marks are: Leading Cadet - Wayne Daley; Able vadets- Edward (Ted) Brown; Gary Gusul, Robert (Bobby) McMillan, Robert (Bobby) Long, Robert (Robby) McKechnie. It is the desrre of the officers of R.C.S. C.C. Superior to send as many cadets as possible on as many training courses as available, but due to age and rank require- " ments for courses and cruises we are rather handicapped, as we are a new corps with a majority of young cadets. But we feel that in future years many of our Cadets will be participating in these training programs that mean so much to the success of an active Sea Cadet Corps. The Corps will resume its Training schedule on Thursday, September 10th and we urge any boy wishing to join, to contact one of the Sea Cadet Officers prior to this date, as a limited number of openings are available for the new Training year and as we are governed by a limited complement of Cadets we cannot surpass our quota. Telephone 3347 for further information regarding age limitations and OT) tq (oT) £e
