During the evening gifts from the students were presented to Mr. Unger, Mr. Pelew and Mra; Steen, teachers who will not return to the High School in the Fall. GOLF NEWS A great deal has been accomplished this past week. The Club House is now almost ready the phone and lights should be installed in a few days then, with a coat of fresh paint, we should be in business. Due to the heavy demands for rental clubs we have ordered more sets. These will be rented out--maximum time for one rental fee is four hours. The grass on holes 5, 6 and 9 is growing real well and, if this keeps up we should be using them in the not too distant future. This should eliminate a lot of the congestion we are now experiencing. Also, as most of you have noticed, a large area is being clear- ed for parking. Once this is ready we want all members and golfers to park their cars there. This will eliminate a crowded area around the club house, as we will eventually place some benches for spectators once the area is cleared. & W. KURYLO Phone 3597
