SOCIAL AND PERSONAL Arlene Coates and Karen Moore were in the Lakehead last week to attend the Toc Alpha Conference held in the Dag Hammersjhold High- school Port Arthur. The girls report it was a very interesting and informative conference with many speakers and worthwhile discussions, Mr. Ken MacLeod spent Easter week in Toront¢ attending the Ontario Educational Association Convention, Visitors with the Bill Kurylos' recently have included his Mother, Mrs, J. Chyz and Mr. Chyz of Westfort over Easter weekend, and Doreen's sister-in-law, Mrs. L. Spiess with Karen and Craig of Port Arthur during the holiday week. Mr, and Mrs. Peter Gombola were guests of honor Sunday evening when her Bridge Club entertained at a dinner at the Motor -- continuing to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Jeanneret for a social evening. A farewell gift of a crystal cream and sugar set was presented with the Club's best wishes. Mr. Gombola leaves shortly for South Carolina. Mrs. Gombola and the family will join him later. Mrs. D,Ollen-Bittle and children were the guests of her Mother in Pt.Arthur last week.
