Games are definitely scheduled for 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, with a third game to be played on Friday if the first two are split. SUPERIORS have already named their pick-ups for this series, bringing in Ally LeBlanc, Al Lanteigne, Pete Amadeo and Ron Kapitan from the Marathon MERCURIES. This provides the locals with one of the strongest North Shore representatives ever to go into the Finals. However, against the Warroad team they will require nothing but the best. LAKERS line-up includes such outstanding players as Ally Reynard, Murray Balagus, Bill Matthews, Murray, Bill and Sam Grafstrom, Buck Forslund and Roger and Billy Christian of U-S-Olympic championship fame. There is no doubt the North Shore represen- tatives have their work cut out for them with such imposing opposition. This could well be the finest series of hockey ever seen on the North Shore. Fans will remember that the Warroad team prefers to play fast, clean, heads- up hockey and it is well known that Terrace Bay has always preferred this type of hockey themselves and play much better under these conditions. It is a series that no one on the North Shore can afford to miss. Be sure you leave Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings of this week open for this exciting series. BILLETS REQUIRED Billets are urgently required for visiting teams during the Northwestern Ontario Minor Hockey Playoffs being held here this weekend. This would be only for Saturday night, March 21st, and would be for boys in the 12 to 16 year old group primarily. § IF YOU CAN PROVIDE LODGING FOR ONE OR MORE BOYS, PLEASE CONTAC™ BILL LOUK OR KEN WARD IMMEDIATELY. We require nearly 100 billets and so far response has been very slow.
