CLUB NEWS For the second weekend in a row members of the local club have captured top prizes in an out of town Bonspiel. The past weekend found the P.Wellings rink of I Romaniuk, L.Shubaly and A,Paulsen travelling to Marathon where they captured first prize in the first event. Congratulations ladies. Local Bonspiel News Members are reminded once again of the Terrace Bay Ladies 10th Annual Bonspiel being held on April 3rd, 4th and 5th. in now to Marj. Hamilton. The first thirty- two rinks entered will be accepted. Entries have already been received from Heron Bay South, Wawa, Marathon, Port Arthur, Fort William and Terrace Bay. RADIO SUBSTATION ASSURED A recent communication from Douglas M. Fisher, M.P., contained the information that the Board of Broadcast Governors of the CBC have approved the substation for Terrace Bay and that, barring construction delays, it should be completely finished and in use with- in the next couple of months.
