William, on January 25th and a bake sale was planned for January 18th. Mrs. R. Bailey, Busy Bee representative, announced a Spring Hat Show is being planned for the month of February by their group. Mrs. B. Lidkea was named hostess for the February meeting. Following the meeting, the members enjoyed a dinner party with exchange of gifts. Miss Jane Skinner, whose marriage to Larry Par- chem takes place February Ist, will be honoured at a shower tea on January 27th from 8 - 10 P.M. in the home of Mrs. A. Gordon. Miss Dawn Madigan has returned to Chapleau after visiting her sister, Mrs. Gladys Madigan. J. E. (Scotty) Irvine of Sudbury had a reunion with boyhood friends here this week. He will be pit- ted against teams from Mani- touwadge, Marathon, Schrei- ber, Nipigon as well as Red Rock. Other teams which compe- ted in the play-offs were:- Ken Johnson with Doug Knight, Gary Galvin and Tony Delaronde; Jim Mc- Donald with Bryan McDonald Jack Chapman, Bob Forbes and Art Reynolds with Joe Kenney, Steve Synishin and Ralph Cole. NOTE: , The final instalment of Club dues are to be paid by January 23rd, 1964. Write out your cheque NOW and mail it to Danny Kenny. The LONGLAC BONSPIEL to be held on the evenings of February 12th, 13th and 14th is open to all fully paid up members of the Men's or Women's Club. The teams must be made up of two men and two women. The skip can place his or her players in any fixed order. On the evening of Friday, February 14th, a SOCIAL will be held in the lounge.
