LADIES CURLING CLUB NEWS Dontt forget the semi-annual meeting of the Terrace Bay Ladies Curling Club to be held in the Curling Club Lounge this Thursday, October 24th, at 8:00 P.M. sharp 2% Pl.ans for the coming season will be discussed and decided at this meeting. Application for membership forms which appeared in last week's issue of the "News" may be turned into this meeting. The deadline for these forms are available from Barbara Haughn at the Post Office. Woodruff was in charge of the ' Baking Booth at the Fall Bazaar held in St. ede of the Candy Table. Mr. T. McInnes was the winner of a quilt donated by Mrs. Art bee om in a raffle. Mrs. C. Dakin was in charge of the Croquet Set raffle which was won by Mrs, B. Ratchford. The Five Dollar voucher donated by Anford"s Ltd. went to Mrs, Y. Vienneau and Linda Helmink was the lucky winner of the candy dish and candy. Mrs. C. Dakin won both the Baby set and the towel set in the bun basket while Mrs. J. Caccamo held the ticket on the Christmas Card holder, Martin's Church and Mrs. A. Beaulieu was in | | | | | GOLF_NEWS Because of the short days little work has been done at the Golf Course during the last few weeks, Because of this, Saturday morning is the alternative and all interested parties are asked to attend work parties on Saturday while the weather permits, Saturday, October 26th, it is hoped will be bring out a large work party to try to finish the burning on the last hole, TRY TO MAKE THIS DATE AND FORM A PARTY.
