The first working date is September 10th and every Tuesday and Thursday following. Evening work will start at 5,00 P.M. _ After September 10th there will not be any golf on work party nights, that is Tuesday and Thursday. It is hoped that many will turn out this fall to help expedite the work pro- posed for the next two months. Progress on the course is as follows:- Holes #1, 2, 3 and 4 are completed and will be ready by June lst next year for usage. #5 hole will be seeded in a week or so and will be ready for use in July, 1964. Holes 6 and 9 will be ready for seeding this fall or early spring and will be in use by August lst, 1964. The remaining holes 7 and 8 require clearing, burning brush and some cutting. These are the holes where work parties will be employed. Because of the shorter days, there will not be much time so that it is hoped that many will come out and in this way the pro- posed work will be done. We in Terrace Bay, are very fortunate to have a golf course which if contracted out would cost over $100,000.00. When completed, this will be a terrific accomplishment and a great asset to the com- munity. Much time and effort is being put to this endeavour. Every hour of work con- tributed will be greatly appreciated and will | help considerably. It will indeed be nice when people will not have to travel 50 or 150 miles to play golf. OF YOUR CHOICE ST.
